Alarm signal comes to the Elise3 hardware, where it is classified and processed by the UCM software. UCM generates an alarm message, determines its priority and code marking, and then delivers the generated message to a group of Ascom IP DECT system authorized subscribers under the algorithm determined by the UCM administrative settings.
Alert algorithm can require the subscriber to acknowledge receipt of the alarm signal, and provide him with possible options for responding to the emergency situation. The subscriber’s choice will be retransmitted to the device controlling the emergency unit as a corresponding control signal. Also, the emergency situation response algorithm may not require any action by an authorized subscriber – all necessary commands will be given by the UCM program in automatic mode.
